I see you have birth records for some counties between 1867 and 1908. What if I do not know the county where the birth took place?
Answer
There is no statewide index for birth records between 1867 and 20 December 1908. If you absolutely do not know the county of birth, you can try looking for the child's parents in the Federal Censuses of Ohio and then hope that they did not move to a different county before or after the birth. Your public library may have a membership to the Ancestry.com or Heritage Quest.com census databases. If the library does have a membership to Ancestry or Heritage Quest, you can review some Census documents online. Family Search also has some Census records available online at https://familysearch.org. This website is free to use, though you do need to sign up for an account to view the extent of their materials.
