Are there photographs of the prisoners of the Ohio Penitentiary?

Unfortunately, we have only a few collections of photographs of the prisoners of the Ohio Penitentiary. The intake photographs (or “mugshots”) of the inmates of the Ohio Penitentiary are not known to survive.

Individual cards for each prisoner include front and profile photographs and several Bertillon system measurements. Bertillon Cards from the Ohio Penitentiary can be ordered online through the Ohio Incarceration Records Index Search.
Photographs of executed prisoners and of the death house 1885-1963 [SAS 1000 AV]
Individual photographs of executed prisoners with each prisoner's name, home county, date of execution, and the crime for which the prisoner was executed. This collection can be found online on Ohio Memory.
